Im Designmonat Graz 2019 hat die Creative Industries Styria eine intensive Partnerschaft mit der UNESCO City of Design Istanbul. Neben der Ausstellung „A Collection from Istanbul“ im designforum Steiermark wird ein 3-Tagesprogramm auf der Murinsel stattfinden, bei dem man die Designlandschaft Istanbuls bei Design Meetings, einer Turkish Night und Workshops besser kennenlernen kann.

Am 17. Mai findet die Design Competition für Bicycle Design„Creathoncity“ statt. In kleinen Teams wird das Design des Fahrrads neu gedacht. Dabei steht sowohl die zukünftige Bedeutung als auch der Asoekt der Nachhaltigkeit und Nutzerfreundlichkeit des Transportmittels im Vordergrund. Eine Anmeldung zum Wettbewerb ist bis 1. Mai erforderlich.

17. Mai 2019 | Design Competition „Creathoncity“
Design Competition for Bicycle Design “Creathoncity” will take place. It is a conceptual design competition for a bicycle design. The expected output will be environmentally friendly, sustainable, high level of mobility, user friendly and will be explained how it will take place in the network of transportation relationships in the future and the processes are questioned as a user-oriented system.

Expected outputs will be one of the following:
